Cityfest Host - Nigel Downer
The party keeps getting better and better! Pleased to welcome @SecondCityTO's @NigelDower as host of this year's @CityFestToronto.
Nigel Downer wrote and performed in four critically-acclaimed mainstage comedy revues with The Second City. Born and raised in Cambridge, Ontario, Nigel studied acting at the University of Guelph, where he co-hosted a weekly radio show and hosted numerous live events. He can be seen performing improv around the city , and on television as a frequent guest on TSN's Off The Record and Cabby Presents, as well as the guy making funny faces in numerous commercials (Caramilk's "Ahhhh" guy; The Source's "Sequence" guy, the McDonald's "You don't know what that means, do you?" guy, among others). Nigel has played in numerous comedy and improv festivals across North America, and continues to teach at The Second City Training Centre because he feels he has something to say... All. The. Time.
